Children must be 3 years of age before August 1st
Children must be potty trained.
Emphasis will be on social and emotional development, fine and large motor control, sensory experiences, fostering independence, letter/color/shape/number recognition, guiding positive peer interactions, cultural diversity and building self confidence.
Children must be 4 years of age before August 1st.
Emphasis on Kindergarten readiness. This class builds upon prior knowledge and experiences.
The focus will be on literacy, phonemic awareness, mathematical and scientific concepts, cause and effect relationships, making inferences and predications and higher level questioning.
Children are regularly assessed in a variety of areas.
